Unlock sparkpowder asap.
Don't lay on regular beds and log off. You'll get stuck when you log back on... Tek sleeping pods are ok, but regular beds, no.
Hatchet gets more wood, stone, and hide.

Taming Tips
Make sure you're prepared. (it's a lot of time and work, but this is worth it)

• Tame some jerboa's (just punch them until they get knocked out, then feed them berries) and Dodo's so they can start giving you poop
• Take that poop and go tame a dung beetle.
• Tame a Phiomia (When tamed, feed them stimberries and they're super poopers! But make sure they have food too!)
• Make yourself a garden, preferably within a green house. (I personally make my green house big enough to house my Phiomia and I let my dung beetle roam around in it too.)
• grow narcoberries and at least 1 of the four fruits. (I personally grow all berries and fruits in my garden)
• Make 100+ Narcopots
• make one longneck rifle,
• make at least 50 tranq darts.
• Build the proper trap that's away from your base (search youtube for trap ideas, different trap builds work for different dinos)
• craft the saddle of the dino you want to tame before you go.

Feeding 25 narcopots to a potential tame, will give them 1,000 torpor (keeps them asleep)

One narcopot gives about 40 torpor.

One narcoberry gives about 7 points of torpor over 3 seconds.

After knocking out a tame, starve them (watch their food get low) while keeping their torpor high. When their food gets low, feed them. They'll tame up quick! Do not let their food run out or they will die!

Easy Otter Taming *You need a Tamed Argy for this

• Hop on your Argy and find a wild Otter.
• Pick up the wild Otter in the Argy's beak.
• Feed the Otter fish to tame it like you normally would.

Boy I feel dumb for not knowing this one.

Wells are NOT a reliable source of water for your garden! Best just do it the old fashioned way. Put the irrigation pipe in a lake, ocean, or river.

During a taming, MAKE SURE YOUR MOUNT IS PASSIVE BEFORE YOU JUMP OFF IT! Otherwise your mount will go after your potential tame and kill it! (Lost a 150 argy )
